J. Olijnyk graduated, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School
in 1999. She previously graduated, summa cum laude, from Wayne State
University as an undergraduate student. Ms. Olijnyk received an Arthur
F. Lederle Scholarship while at Wayne's law school.
She distinguished herself by advancing to the Quarterfinal round of
the Student Trial Advocacy Program in her second year, and received
an Honorable Mention in a contract drafting competition in her first
year. Ms. Olijnyk has been introduced into the membership of numerous
academic honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key National
Honor Society and the David Mackenzie Honor Society.
Ms. Olijnyk was a co-editor of two theme issues of the Michigan Bar
Journal in 2000 and 2002. She practices in the areas of commercial litigation,
general civil litigation and class actions at the trial court and appellate
levels.
